The meteorological agency Météo-France has placed two departments on orange “rain-flood” vigilance for the day of this Saturday, January 18.

The two departments affected by this orange vigilance are Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud. The latter is also concerned by yellow alerts for “waves-submersion”, “thunderstorms” and “avalanches”. Haute-Corse is also on yellow “avalanche” alert.
In addition, 12 departments have been placed on yellow alert for the risk of flooding.
-During this rainy episode, it is recommended to limit travel if possible or to remain particularly attentive on the roads.
