Android co-founder relishes Microsoft’s failure in mobility

Today Android is everywhere, from smartphones to tablets, including connected objects and televisions. Although Google quickly bought the start-up in 2005, the operating system remains available as open source and any user or company can use the OS to develop their product. It is today the most used system in the world.

Microsoft’s efforts, with Windows Phone and the acquisition at great expense of Nokia, to catch up with Google and Android ended in a bitter failure, and the company had to reinvent itself with the arrival of Satya Nadella in 2014 in services , then artificial intelligence.
