Paatal Lok Season 2 Ending Explanation
At the end of Paatal Lok Season 2, we saw this same theory come into play when, with the help of Jitu’s money broker friend Bhalla (Hathi Ram’s brother-in-law), Hathi Ram managed to locate the person who was supposed to give the money to Rose. He handed her the torn piece of a 500 rupee note and took out 2,000 rupees.
However, Hathi Ram took only 5 lakhs from this pile of money and handed it over to Raghu’s father because apparently that was the money the Paswans needed to pay their debts. And that’s it, that’s it. Hathi Ram walked out of the frame with a smile on his face, knowing that he had solved the case assigned to him.
-At the end of Paatal Lok Season 2, we are sure that the Paswans needed much more than 5 lakh rupees to survive. Why didn’t he just give this money, the 2,00,000 rupees, to these people? Why didn’t he take all the money and give it to Esther, so she could give Jane the future she deserves, and Rose’s mother , so that she can leave her dilapidated house and get a suitable house?
And please don’t give me the “it was dirty money” excuse. The money that Hathi Ram gave to the Paswans was also dirty money; it didn’t matter if it was what they were owed and everything else. It’s just weird that Esther, Jane and Rose’s family are left to fend for themselves while Raghu’s family gets a helping hand. At the end of Paatal Lok Season 2,do I think Hathi Ram will quit his police job and start working for Bhalla, like Jitu and Renu wanted? After the last conversation between Hathi Ram and Bhalla? I don’t think so. I think Hathi Ram’s story will end with his death. This man loves his job too much, even if his body doesn’t agree with him!
