The Léo Lagrange gymnasium in Ramonville-Saint-Agne (31) will benefit from an Olympic pitch, thanks to exemplary collaboration between the local handball club and the municipality.

The Castanet Ramonville Auzeville handball association (CRAHB), a club active in the practice of handball in competition and leisure within the Léo Lagrange municipal gymnasium in Ramonville-Saint-Agne, south of , recently requested the municipality for the renovation of the ground of this sports facility.

The Léo Lagrange gymnasium will thus benefit from a new Olympic quality floor, from the 2024 Games, thanks to an agreement signed between the municipality and the CRAHB. As part of this approach, very high quality handball courts, designed especially for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and used during the warm-up phases before the events, were offered to communities at a preferential rate. Seizing this unique opportunity, the municipality mobilized to optimize the training conditions for Ramonville athletes.

Thanks to the dynamism and involvement of CRAHB, Ramonville had the honor of being selected to host one of these sites. The club, supported by its network and in conjunction with the French Handball Federation, played a key role in obtaining this new equipment. This renovation will allow licensees, young people and adults, to practice their sport in optimal conditions, thus strengthening the attractiveness of the municipal gymnasium and the quality of local sports infrastructure. The agreement signed between the municipality and the CRAHB marks a new stage in the collaboration between local sports stakeholders and the municipality, in the service of development and sporting excellence.
