Maxime Guény joined the family TPMP in 2017. He was received this Friday January 17, 2025 in the show At Jordan’s chez C8. The journalist returned to this experience. Jordan de Luxe took the opportunity to ask him about his income per show.
Maxime Guény is a media man. After a literary baccalaureate, then studies in information and communication and creative industries, he began working in several editorial offices. His career even led him to try his hand at animation with a column in Non Stop People. This promising start to his career attracted the attention of Cyril Hanouna, who then recruited him to join the team of Don’t touch my post. We are now in January 2017.
“This was not at all planned at the start“he explains this Friday morning, on the set of At Jordan’s. He details: “They were looking for media experts, and I had already been doing media journalism for ten years […] One day, the editor-in-chief texted me: ‘Do you want to do it once, as a one-shot?’” The idea appealed to him. He finally came back week after week, until he landed the position of columnist. “I must have done a little over 1,000 shows“confides the one who appears less often in the show.
Maxime Guény responded to Jordan de Luxe’s indiscretions
Jordan de Luxe is used to ask your guests about their salariesor the amount of their pension. Thus, Julien Lepers revealed how much he received for hosting the game Questions for a Champion. This time was no exception: “When your name is Maxime Guény, how much do you get per show for ‘Touche pas à mon poste’?” he asked his guest. The answer revolves around “500 euros“. Jordan de Luxe then did a quick calculation to try to guess the amount of his salary per month.
-Maxime Guény denied having been able to receive more than 20,000 euros per month only thanks to TPMP. “Initially, I started at 150 euros gross. Over the years, you add 50 euros, and that’s it… So even though I did a lot of shows, I had a beginner’s salary“, justified the man who exercised an astonishing profession. Jordan de Luxe then set off again: “At most, when it was every day, it could go up to 10,000 euros?“ A question left unanswered.
