Quebec announces a new financial assistance program for occupational health and safety, launched by the Commission for Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST) and the Minister of Labor, Jean Boulet .
It aims to support organizations or associations that want to set up training or information programs in health and safety at work.
Projects that are selected under the program, designated by the acronym PAOSST, may receive financial assistance of up to $100,000 per year.
These projects must make it possible to carry out interventions to support workplaces in their knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to health and safety at work, or their application.
-It can also involve the promotion of good prevention practices in the workplace.
“Reducing the number of occupational injuries inevitably requires information, awareness and training,” commented Minister Boulet, on the occasion of the launch of the program.
