We created more chances in the second half, so we deserved to win. I’m happy about it. We suffered during this period and this victory should give us confidence and self-belief again. We must now prepare for the next challenge.
On what he said to his players at halftime: “I told them to remain patient and not to try to force it. We tried to force too much in the first half. We didn’t have the right positioning. We changed a few things. In the second half, even though they played with more intensity and pressed better, we were more dominant and we created more chances. That’s why I think we deserved it.
“We are happy but we only have a short time to be happy. We need to focus on what’s next.
-Sir George Rutter: “I am impressed by his attitude and how he is always positive. He always has a smile on his face. He really enjoys being on the field and playing with the guys. He has a lot of important experience in the Championship.
“He’s a good finisher and I’m very happy he’s here. But there are a lot of things to improve and he knows it. We try to give him an environment where he can improve every day.
