The Canadiens are in Dallas on Thursday to face the Stars in what can be seen as the rematch of the one played last week in Montreal.

The Stars (28-14-1, 57 points) defeated the Habs (21-18-4, 46 points) in a shootout on this occasion.

Two quick goals

The Canadians seem to be trailing a little during the first minutes of the period, but Jakub Dobes resists each time on the first shot, except that he can do nothing on Jason Robertson’s return, at 3:50.

The response does not take long. A few moments later, Cole Caufield catches a short pass from Nick Suzuki, accelerates down the left flank, mocks the defender and hands it to Juraj Slafkovsky who throws it into an open net at 4:37.
