Information confirmed by his former wife, Laure Bergheaud, at France Bleu Pays d’Auvergne. Discreet about his private life, the man behind the album Cheyenne Autumn, musical success of the year 1989, has indeed lived a love story with this woman who gave him his last two children, Justine and Gaspard. “My wifeit’s a full time job”, had confided the founder of the Clara group in a portrait of him drawn up by Liberation in 2009.
If there is little information circulating about Laure Bergheaud, this one has gravitated around the musical universe just like her ex-husband and has collaborated on many of his projects, such as his albumTobogganreleased on March 25, 2013 on the Pias label, or by Great Hare, released in September 2011 by V2/Universal, as reported by Discogs. In an interview with the mediaMagica few years ago, the late Jean-Louis Murat had moreover given an overview of the preponderant place occupied by music in his former couple: “At home, I only listen to vinyl. And there is a lot of disco. For example, I am an absolute fan of Eddie Kendricks, the former singer of the Temptations. Besides, Laure, it always made her laugh. She still hasn’t understood my disco side.”
