Collins, 11th in the world at the WTA, will face American Madison Keys, seeded No. 19 in the third round of the Australian Grand Slam.
During the previous round of the Australian Open, the American won against Ukrainian qualifier Daria Snigur (7-6 [4]6-3).
Aiava, 195th player in the world at the WTA, had dismissed the Belgian Greet Minnen (5-7, 7-5, 7-6 [5]).
