/ Bussang: Murder of Anaïs Marcelli: a call for witnesses 34 years after the events

On January 14, 1991, Anaïs Marcelli, a 10-year-old girl, tragically disappeared while returning from school in (Haut-Rhin). His lifeless body was found three months later, in April, at the Col de Bussang, in the Vosges. This murder, never elucidated, has remained a mystery for more than three decades. Today, 34 years after his kidnapping, justice is relaunching the investigation with a new call for witnesses, report our colleagues from BFM .

Under the aegis of the judicial center, a toll-free number (0800.35.83.35) and a dedicated email address ([email protected]) have been set up to collect any information likely to advance this closed case. among the “cold cases”.

Over the years, many avenues had been explored without success. Investigators had considered infamous suspects such as Francis Heaulme, Michel Fourniret, or even a Dutch pedophile, Michel Stockx. Jean-Pierre Treiber was also among the names mentioned. But none of these avenues helped resolve this drama.

With this call for witnesses, the authorities hope that new testimonies or forgotten elements could emerge. Technological and scientific advances, as well as the renewed attention surrounding this issue, could prove decisive in finally shedding light on the murder of Anaïs Marcelli and providing her family with long-awaited answers.
