Florence Alléon, communications manager, and Maryline Viallon, training development advisor, explain the reasons for this transfer.
In Mably, you have large recent premises, so why this move? We were seriously lacking space in our premises in Mably, which opened in 2014. Over the years, we have increased the number of training courses, whether in apprenticeship or continuing education. Here, in Valmy, we find the premises that we occupied in the Roanne basin when we started in 2009. We now have 1,300 m 2 additional, including 600 m 2 workshop and seven training rooms, near the Mably site (2,500m 2 ). We have transferred our electrotechnical and maintenance workshops and we now have our own physics/chemical laboratory.
Furthermore, we were able to make the two modular buildings installed in Mably less comfortable and costly in rental costs.
We aim to train future employees for sectors under pressure and demand is growing. It was urgent to expand our premises, especially as we offer training for people in a professional retraining situation who are quickly employable thanks to their knowledge of the world of work and its rules.
Can you give us some details about this type of training? Currently, we have a group of job seekers in industrial maintenance operator training, which fully meets the local demand for this profession in tension. We selected nine profiles with varied backgrounds (former salesperson, bank employee, pharmacy employee, restaurateur, transport logistics, facilitator, etc.) aged from 20 to 58 years old, demonstrating strong motivation and very good knowledge. -be and for which we already have very good feedback. The training lasts six months and allows learners to acquire a first level of maintenance.
A company internship is systematically scheduled. This year it will take place from February 3 to 14. Two weeks of immersion to fully experience the profession without any burden for the company. It is not uncommon for the employer to allow their intern to continue their work-study training over a year to obtain a Joint Qualification Certification in Metallurgy (CQPM) at the end of the internship. offer him a permanent contract.
Soon a license in boilermaking
With these new premises, do you have any plans? From September, we are setting up a boilermaking license (12 places) for apprentices who already hold a diploma or with significant experience in this field, future business managers, able to follow a product from order taking until ‘to its delivery through costing, implementation of processes, monitoring of the project…
Furthermore, for the training of line drivers, we are planning the upcoming installation of a 4.0 robotic production line, connected and with optical controls by cameras.
