The Boston Celtics celebrated a dominating victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, and they now head north for a highly anticipated clash with the Toronto Raptors. In their previous meeting, the Celtics inflicted a resounding defeat on the Raptors by a margin of 54 points, and they hope to repeat a dominant performance this Wednesday evening.
On the other hand, the Raptors are struggling immensely this season, finding themselves among the worst-performing teams in the league. Their star player, Scottie Barnes, has been intermittently kept off the field, in part because of injuries to other key players. Currently, Toronto is fully engaged in the search for Cooper Flagg.
As the Celtics prepare for their game against the Raptors this Wednesday, January 15, here is the latest injury report.
Fortunately for Boston, the team has had a relatively healthy stretch recently. Apart from a few minor pains, their squad remained largely intact. Drew Peterson, who was in concussion protocol, is back and will not be listed on the injury report, which is a big boost for the Celtics.

However, the Celtics are still dealing with the aftereffects of old injuries to some of their key players. Kristaps Porzingis had a rough start to the season due to offseason foot surgery, which compounded his situation with various leg injuries.
In addition, Jaylen Brown suffered a shoulder sprain, Derrick White was ill, and Jrue Holiday is sidelined with a knee problem. So while the roster appears healthy currently, the injury report does not fully capture the lingering health concerns within the team.
For the Raptors, the only name listed on their injury report is Immanuel Quickley, who will miss Wednesday’s game with a groin injury. This season, Quickley has only appeared in nine games, but his absence shouldn’t obscure the fact that this marks one of the healthiest stretches for Toronto this season, even as he continues to work toward a full return .
