The icy weather caused by the cold wave affecting a large part of France caused several injuries on the road, including one death, on Wednesday January 15 in Bas-Rhin.

Almost everywhere on the roads of Bas-Rhin, Wednesday January 15, there are overturned cars, damaged on the side of the roads. The cause of all these accidents is the presence of ice generated by winter weather. A man died this Wednesday morning at dawn on one of these departmental roads. The driver of a car collided with a tractor.

A young motorist in an accident was lucky: he escaped alive, after his car rolled over. “I braked but nothing, she decided to leave herself”he said about his car which allegedly ran away on its own. Still in Bas-Rhin, on the A352 motorway, 46 vehicles were involved in a pileup. The accident left five people injured in relative emergency. In Aisne, two people died in road accidents, probably due to icy conditions.
