Bayern won 5-0 against Hoffenheim. A match controlled from start to finish by Vincent Kompany’s men.
After once again keeping clean sheets against Borussia Mönchengladbach last week (0-1), Bayern Munich reunited with its supporters for the first home game of 2025. A reunion celebrated with a small festival.
From the first minutes, the Bavarians already opened the scoring with a magnificent collective movement concluded quite energetically by Leroy Sane (5th, 1-0). Seven minutes later, Raphael Guerreiro doubled the lead. 2-0 after less than a quarter of an hour, nothing more untoward could happen to the Recorder.
Especially since shortly before the half-hour mark, Harry Kane (already a penalty scorer) last weekend made the score 3-0 from eleven meters. Three goals ahead at rest, Bayern have already returned to cruising speed.
The Allianz Arena has returned to its good old habits
Vincent Kompany’s troops then stepped on the accelerator again at the start of the second half on a nice cross from Mathys Tel, taken over by Sané (4-0). The fifth goal fell shortly after the hour mark via Serge Gnabry.
5-0 final score: Bayern remains four points ahead of Leverkusen, 1-0 winner of Mainz. Hoffenheim (for whom Gift Orban came into the game) remains stuck just above the red zone, the team will face Anderlecht in the Europa League in two weeks.
