Australian Open: Arthur Fils dominates Quentin Halys, Coco Gauff advances to the 16th round

Two new results have just fallen at the Australian Open.

In a Franco-French duel in the round of 32 of the Australian Open, it was Arthur Fils who was the best. The 21st in the world dominated Quentin Halys in four sets (6-2, 4-6, 7-6, 7-5) and should meet Ugo Humbert in the next round.

In the women’s draw, Coco Gauff dominated the British Jodie Burrage in two tight sets (6-3, 7-5). The American, world number 3, will meet Leylah Fernandez in the 3rd round in a match which promises to be closer against the number 30 seed of the tournament.
