It follows the collapse of part of a wall in a building on rue du Pâquier on Tuesday.
There are no injuries to report, but risks to be assessed after the collapse of part of a wall in Annecy on Tuesday in the old town.
Risks of floor collapse
These are two rises of a building under construction on rue du Pâquier which are concerned. While work was underway in a restaurant a collapse occurred. It left cracks appearing on a load-bearing wall of the buildings located at 9 and 11 rue du Pâquier in Annecy. The fire and rescue services and municipal services went to the site and noted the great fragility of the buildings. Based on the analysis of a firefighter specializing in building risks, an evacuation order was then taken in order to keep residents safe, explain the city and the Prefecture.
Danger order
A danger order for the risk of floor collapse at these addresses was signed by the Mayor in 2022 and was still in force. François Astorg issued a new order of imminent danger this Tuesday evening.
Pick-ups in Bonlieu
24 homes and staff from 7 commercial premises were evacuated. An emergency reception has been set up in Bonlieu. At 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, 21 people concerned had presented themselves to the City services.
Specialist teams must now carry out a precise risk assessment by Friday to find out more about what happens next.
