Biathlon: a first golden race at the World University Games for Noémie Remonnay

“So I did a pretty strong first lap then I refueled on the first lying down and I came out behind Amélie Broutier who had just left and that helped me a lotretrace-t-elle. We struggled the whole race, which was really interesting. When shooting, you needed calm to settle things down. I managed to stay focused until the end! »
A final decisive standing shot

“If I missed, it was going to be hot and, if I put them on, I was going to be in a good placeshe explains. I tried to ignore all that to do things the way I know how to do them on my feet, simply. I was quite composed, serene, calm and very lucid. »
With 5/5 and a total of 18/20, Franc-Comtoise therefore won the laurels of victory. A beautiful revenge for a biathlete who was not selected in the federal collectives in the spring despite good performances in the IBU Cup and which had not managed, this winter, to make a way on circuit B.
“I’ve had a lot of difficulty on the shooting range since the start of the season and that hasn’t allowed me to play up front for the IBU Cup selections.she regrets.
