Our prediction : Brest beats Nantes (2.05)

The Canaries must think more about maintaining than about a course in the Coupe de France, have just taken two points out of eighteen possible away and have only won one match (1-0 against Rennes) during of the last fourteen days of the championship. For its part, Stade Brestois remains on three home successes with goals on each side: 3-1 against Strasbourg, 4-1 against their evening opponents, and 2-1 against Lyon last weekend. Let’s not forget that the Bretons are second in the home standings in Ligue 1 behind Paris-SG with nineteen points. The task of the people of Nantes therefore promises to be very complicated in Finistère. For all these reasons, I see Brest once again winning in front of its home crowd.
