Patrik Laine scores a first five-on-five goal with the Canadian

Patrik Laine is an ace on the power play. When the puck makes its way to him with a man advantage, opposing goalies just have to watch out.

Laine finally managed to score at five on five!

After nine power play goals with the Canadiens, Laine scored his first power play goal on Tuesday in the game against Utah.

The funny thing about this is that the goal is an identical copy of his typical power play goals. A lead from the left circle to beat the goalkeeper.

Laine thus reached the plateau of 10 goals with the Canadian.

The Finn became the sixth Canadian player to reach this plateau this season. It therefore only took 43 games for the Canadian to have six 10-goal scorers.

This is a good improvement compared to recent years.

It should also be mentioned that this was Laine’s 400th point in the NHL. He achieved the feat in just 495 games.

Not bad!

More details to come.
