Indeed, we learn during an interview given to the American media Deadline published this Thursday January 9, 2025, that the actor Jude Lawrecently seen in the historical drama The Queen’s Game (2024), would embody the controversial political figure Vladimir Poutine in an upcoming adaptation of the book Le Mage du Kremlin (2022) Giuliano da Empoli.
A role far from obvious when we know the reputation of this former KGB officer on the international scene… On this subject, the actor also confided to Deadline : “For now, it feels like an Everest to climb”.
