Corey Graves very disappointed to have been transferred to NXT

UPDATE: WWE will reclaim the storyline tonight on NXT.

Graves promised to speak out on the subject.

During the recent commentary changes, WWE decided to move Corey Graves to NXT, at least for last week’s episode. And he didn’t take it very well.

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee are stationed at RAWwhile Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore are now working on Smackdown.

On X, Grave “subtly” expressed his disappointment.

He recalled that his wrestling career was cut short due to injuries, subsequently dedicating his career to being an excellent commentator.

But Graves doesn’t like that he isn’t famous enough in his own capacity, thus referring to his move to NXT.

Imagine chasing your dream.

Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream.

Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty f***ing awesome at it.

And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job.

Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.

It is not yet known if Graves will be a commentator on NXT on a permanent basis.
