Princess Kate, who celebrated her 43rd birthday on January 9, also took advantage of the day to visit the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where she was treated. She came to thank the staff, whose “extraordinary work”, but also support patients: “I wanted to come and show my support […] to those who are undergoing treatment and going through such a difficult time.”

“Entering here through the main entrance, after having made so many discreet and private visits, is quite nice actually,” confided the princess in front of the hospital, which is located in the chic Chelsea district, in the west of the British capital. Kate announced in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with cancer, the nature of which has not been revealed, and that she had started chemotherapy. In September, she said with “relief” having finished his treatment, in a video shot with William and their three children. His location of treatment had not previously been revealed.
