DJI kicked off 2025 with the introduction of one of the most compact drones in its lineup, the DJI Flip. This new product features an innovative foldable design and weighs less than 249 grams, allowing you to take it almost anywhere.
Technical characteristics
- The drone is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with a resolution of 48 MP and an aperture of f/1.7. With Dual Native ISO technology, it can record 4K/60fps videos with high dynamic range, as well as create 4K/100fps slow-motion videos.
- The Flip supports 10-bit D-Log M color mode, which preserves more detail in shadows and highlights, providing professional editing capabilities even in difficult lighting conditions.
- Featuring a smart battery, the drone offers up to 31 minutes of flight time, making it ideal for long shoots.
- Thanks to OcuSync 4.0, the drone supports 1080p/60fps video transmission up to a distance of 13 km. Data is transferred to the DJI Fly mobile app at speeds of up to 30MB/s. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi and transfer footage from the DJI Flip to the DJI Fly app at speeds of up to 30MB/s. s.
Design features
The DJI Flip is the first drone with a foldable carbon fiber propeller guard. This innovation makes the device lightweight, durable and safe, even for beginners. The device weighs less than an apple and fits easily in the palm of your hand. Therefore, it does not require additional licensing in most countries.
Smart Features
- AI topic tracking. Intelligent subject tracking allows you to keep the focus on the main character at all times.
- Shooting modes. The drone offers six intelligent modes: Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Helix, Boomerang and Spotlight.
- Voice control. With the “Hey Fly” command, the user can activate the drone’s functions and control it with their voice.
- Easy take-off without remote control. Simply connect DJI Flip to the DJI Fly app via Wi-Fi Direct to fly the drone with one hand. The new vertical interface allows you to easily switch between different shooting modes, making use even simpler and more intuitive.
- DJI Flip is equipped with a 3D infrared detection system, which allows automatic braking even at night.
