Fire in a secondary school in Sorel-Tracy: students evacuated

Students at Bernard-Gariépy secondary school in Sorel-Tracy were evacuated due to a fire on Tuesday morning.

Students are accommodated at the Cégep de Sorel-Tracy, according to what the Sorel-Tracy school service center indicates on its website.

“Students are currently safe and under the supervision of school staff,” it said. Parents who wish to pick up their child can do so from noon at the Cégep by going to door 17. The school staff is ready to welcome you and coordinate the departure of the students.”
