War in Ukraine: for the first time, Ukraine kills a Russian soldier thanks to its new “Winchester” drone equipped with two hunting rifles

Ukraine has started equipping its drones with shotguns to shoot down Russian drones and kill soldiers.

In a video Posted on social media on Saturday by pro-Ukrainian bloggers, a Ukrainian drone armed with two firearms is seen flying over a battlefield. The drone attaches itself to at least three Russian drones carrying grenades and fires at them in succession. Each of the quadcopters crashes to the ground.

The Ukrainian drone then spots a Russian soldier walking along a road. He rushes at him and shoots, but misses his target. The craft rotates, rises and dives for a second strike. This time, the infantryman falls to the ground. It’s unclear whether he was simply injured or died.

The images were reportedly filmed near the town of Koupianskin the Kharkiv region, in northwest Ukraine, which Russian forces are trying to conquer.
