In total, more than 180,000 people were forced to evacuate their homes in Los Angeles and the death toll has now risen to 24. Faced with the tragedy, a wave of solidarity was created and many personalities chose to mobilize.

Jennifer Garner, who has just announced the death of a friend trapped by the flames, was notably photographed doing volunteer work in Los Angeles a few days ago. In partnership with the World Central Kitchen association, the 52-year-old actress notably gave meals to the victim families.

For their part, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opened their home in Montecito, where they live with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, for their loved ones affected by the fires. This weekend, the couple was then filmed in Eaton, in the Altadena district of California, where they met with emergency services and victims. “They want to be as helpful as possible,” said Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo. “They took the time to meet those affected and spent time with them. They are very caring people who care about their friends and neighbors. » Meghan Markle notably chose to postpone the release of her series “With Love, Meghan” following the fires.

More discreet, Angelina Jolie was also filmed volunteering with her 16-year-old son Knox, while many personalities are mobilizing on social networks to encourage Internet users to make donations. Among them, Eva Longoria, Paris Hilton and Sharon Stone.
