According to ESPNthe game between the Lakers and Spurs next night (at the Crypto Arena) and the one between the Clippers and the Heat (at the Intuit Dome) will take place, even if it is obviously difficult to guarantee anything in view of the rapid – and above all unpredictable – evolution of the situation concerning the fires.
As a reminder, the NBA postponed the Lakers’ last two home games, against the Hornets (Thursday) and the Spurs (Saturday). The League also postponed the meeting between the Clippers and the Hornets (Saturday).

The Frenchie of the Clippers, Nicolas Batum, hopes that the return of basketball to Los Angeles will allow the Angelinos to think a little about something else, despite a situation which is still critical in the City of Angels.
“Maybe we need that (playing basketball). We’ve been through some crazy things these last five days. Maybe people need that, just to think of something else for two hours.”
