“Hell Will Break Down If Hamas Does Not Return the Hostages”: What Donald Trump Plans Behind This Formula

In an exclusive interview expected this evening on Fox News, American Vice President-elect JD Vance must clarify the contours of Donald Trump’s recent threat concerning the fate of the hostages in Gaza, symbolized by his phrase “all hell will break loose” if their release does not occur before the inauguration on January 20.

According to preliminary information, the Trump plan would revolve around two major axes: the full authorization given to the IDF to eliminate the last divisions of Hamas in Gaza, and the establishment of a particularly severe sanctions regime aimed at organizations supporting terrorism in the Middle East.

While details of the planned financial sanctions remain confidential, they could prove unprecedented, going beyond measures already taken by the Biden administration, which included arrest warrants for several Hamas leaders.

In what appears to be a thinly veiled criticism of the Biden team, Vance stressed that this approach embodied “true American leadership, which Donald Trump has exercised for four years and will continue to exercise for the next four years.”

The military context remains complex: the IDF has not yet neutralized all of Hamas’ 24 brigades, two of them remaining active. This situation is explained by the presence of 98 hostages in central Gaza, limiting military operations.

Vance suggests that recent progress in negotiations stems primarily from Hamas’ apprehension of future retaliation promised by Trump. Even assuming a resolution under the Biden administration, the vice president-elect attributes it to “absolute fear” inspired by Trump’s imminent return to power.

This position is reinforced by Mick Waltz, future national security advisor, who toughened his tone by promising “consequences” for any attack on American citizens abroad.
