The Vannes rugby club (RCV) faces Edinburgh on Saturday January 11, 2025 at the Rabine stadium. This is the 3rd day of the EPCR Challenge Cup, the final of which will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. For RCV, it is the penultimate match of the group stage, before the trip to the Scarlets.
What time does the match start?
Vannetais’ 2024/2025 EPCR Challenge Cup campaign began with a defensive bonus point in Georgia (Black Lion). Against Gloucester, it was the offensive bonus with the victory. The third match will take place at La Rabine against Edinburgh. The match will start at 2 p.m.
“We take the match like a semi-final,” said forwards coach Mathieu Cidre. Indeed, in the event of victory, qualification for the 1/8 finals will be almost assured.
On which channel?
For those who were unable to obtain their match ticket, the match will be broadcast live on BeIN Sports 3. Many Vannes bars will broadcast the meeting.

Alan Stivell to sing the Breton anthem
The incumbent Philippe Leray will leave his microphone to Alan Stivell for this meeting.
He will sing the My ancestral homeland (Breton anthem) a few minutes before the entry of the rugby players.
The Roue Waroch festival programs the group Tastard-Merlet 4tet at the Taverne de la Rabine. “This quartet composed of an accordionist, a clarinetist, a guitarist and a percussionist distills Breton music to dance with energy,” indicates Roue Waroch.
