Algeria Football– The members of the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) approved, this Saturday, by an overwhelming majority, the proposal to adapt the general regulations.
During the work of the assembly, which is currently taking place at the army hotel in Beni Messous, in Algiers, the participants voted “yes” for the compliance of the legal texts of the federation. This process is part of an effort to align FAF regulations with the requirements of international football bodies.
The Extraordinary General Assembly was held in the presence of key figures in Algerian football, including national coach Vladimir Petković. At his side, former Algerian international Djamel Mesbah, who is expected to join the technical staff of the local national team led by his former teammate with the Greens, Madjid Bougherra.
This reform of the regulatory texts marks an important step for the FAF, which seeks to modernize its operation and meet international standards, in particular those of FIFA. The presence of Vladimir Petković, head coach of the national team, testifies to the importance of this initiative for the future of Algerian football.
