“I see our house in Malibu burning live on television”: the terrible consequences of the Los Angeles fires for Hilton

The fires currently ravaging the western United States have forced thousands of Americans to leave their homes. Star Hilton saw her house burning live.

Many personalities have had to leave their villa on the West Coast of the United States, threatened or even engulfed by the devastating flames currently taking place in the country.

The model and businesswoman, Paris Hilton, recounted on her social networks the dramatic scene she saw: seeing her house burn live on American television, according to The Parisian.

“I sit with my family, watch the news and see our Malibu house burning on live . It’s something no one should ever have to go through.”she says. “This house is where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix (his son, editor’s note) took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a life of memories with London (his daughter, editor’s note)”she adds.

Help for those most affected

The jet-setter explained that her team, Media Impact, is in “contact” with non-profit organizations to “trying to help the communities affected by the fires as much as possible.”

Currently, the large fires around Los Angeles are out of control. No fewer than 180,000 people remain under evacuation orders. There are 1,500 razed or damaged buildings, and the toll has worsened with at least ten deaths, at the time of writing.
