Pregame: Retro Thursday v. Buffalo Sabers

The Ottawa Senators are back at home and will play their first game there in 2025 when they face the Buffalo Sabers on Thursday night at 7 p.m. (ET). This game will also be the fourth Throwback Thursday of the Senators’ season, and tickets are still available HERE.

As is the tradition of Retro Thursday evenings, the first 10,000 spectators to pass through the turnstiles tomorrow evening will receive a limited edition collector’s poster created by Canadian visual artist Samantha Woj. This week’s poster will feature goalkeeper Patrick Lalime. Previous posters have featured former players Daniel Alfredsson, Chris Phillips and Chris Neil.

Born with a rare genetic disorder called ectrodactyly, Woj uses hockey equipment like skates, pucks and sticks to hit, roll and slide across the canvas. His unique method allows him to fill negative spaces on the canvas and create unique shapes that come together to produce original and magnificent works.

In addition, Canadian Tire Center concessions will offer retro prices, including hot dogs and popcorn for $5, soft serve ice cream for $3, and many other low-cost products.

The Sabers are visiting for the second of four meetings between the two teams this season. In their first face-to-face in Buffalo, on November 5, the Senators fell by a score of 5 to 1, and will therefore look to take their revenge tomorrow night.

Don’t miss the Retro Thursday offers! Get your tickets now for tomorrow night’s game HERE.
