Due to flooding, the Nantes eastern ring road is partially closed

The heavy rainfall in recent hours has caused the Gesvres to overflow onto the roadway, implying a closure of the eastern ring road of Nantes, outside, between the Porte de la Beaujoire and the Porte de la Chapelle, indicates this morning of January 9, the traffic command post. Users traveling on the outer ring road (from Porte d’Anjou to Porte de Gesvres) are invited to follow the following alternative routes:

“S6” from Porte de la Beaujoire.

“S8” from Porte d’Anjou via the A811 to the Vieilleville Nord interchange in the direction of Rennes and Vannes, to return, via the A11, to the Nantes ring road at Porte de Gesvres, where they return to their original destination.

In the context of this flood, the proposed “S8” alternative route is accompanied by an exceptional measure to cover toll costs.
