Creality has been busy announcing a new 3D printer in the form of the Hi Combo. Although the system does not appear to be currently in stock, those interested can sign up to be notified of its availability. Officially priced at $469, the Creality Hi Combo includes a CFS module, which can hold four filaments. The 3D printer alone will cost you $299. Check the company’s website for pricing in your area.
The Creality Hi Combo can work with four CFS modules at once, allowing it to handle up to 16 different colors and filaments. As this is an open 3D printer, the printing processes can be somewhat sensitive to drafts. Featuring a build volume of 260 x 260 x 300 mm (10.2 x 10.2 x 11.8 in), the Hi Combo boasts a maximum print speed of 500 mm/s and print speed typical 300 mm/s, depending on specifications; a higher print speed generally results in lower quality. The nozzle and heated bed can reach 300°C (572°F) and 100°C (212°F) respectively. However, the print space cannot be heated due to its open design.
The Hi Combo 3D Printer comes 95% pre-assembled out of the box and offers various other features including a 3.2-inch touchscreen, camera for tracking prints, Creality app support Cloud and Wi-Fi control, plus auto-leveling.
