Barça: Laporta lost his nerves last night

On the sidelines of the match won by Barça in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao (2-0), President Joan Laporta let go after the decision of the Higher Council of Spanish Sport (CSD ) to register its two players Dani Olmo and Victor for the second part of the season.

While the decision of the Spanish Sports Council (CSD) to authorize Dani Olmo and Pau Victor to join the Barça squad for the rest of the season is causing discussion, since it goes against what had been decided by La Liga and the Spanish Federation, Barça president Joan Laporta made headlines. So, the chain Sport 3 broadcast images of the euphoric president when he heard the news about Olmo and Victor. A joy expressed by shouts and arms of honor from the Catalan leader, with the added bonus of “son of a bitch…” shouted very loudly and which the Spanish press thinks are intended for La Liga and the federation. However, the new president of the RFEF, Rafael Louzan, was not present at the time of the incident.

Marca reports that exchanges between members of the RFEF and Catalan leaders were reportedly cold. Asked about the decision regarding Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, Louzan responded diplomatically: “It is true that news is news and this is important, it concerns two players and a big club like Barcelona. We must respect the decisions of an institution like the CSD. We cannot embark on an evaluation because we knew here, in the stadium, the decision of the precautionary measure and when we know in depth what was communicated by this body, we will make an evaluation that LaLiga will also have to make . We respected what was established, there is a regulation which was also approved by the CSD at the time. »

For his part, Joan Laporta would have been very tense in the stands towards regional associations. He even kicked certain objects present on the premises.

The situation seems more tense than ever between the FC Barcelona staff and the governing bodies of Spanish football.
