In addition to the new additions to the Titan, Stealth, Vector and Raider families, MSI also introduced AI variants of gaming laptops this year. Laptops with AI technology unveiled by the company include the Titan 18 HX AI, the Raider 18 HX AI, the Stealth 18 HX AI, the Stealth A18 AI+, the Vector 17 HX AI, the Vector 16 HX AI and the Stealth A16 AI+.
The Raider 18 HX AI is equipped with an 18-inch Mini-LED screen with UHD+ resolution (3840 x 2400 pixels). The screen also offers a fast 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming. With VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and near-perfect (~100%) DCI-P3 color accuracy, users can expect stunning images.
Under the hood, buyers can opt for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with 24GB GDDR7 or the RTX 5080 GPU with 16GB GDDR7, both of which offer AI-driven features and enhanced graphics capabilities. Besides, buyers can choose between Intel Core Ultra 285HX or AMD Ryzen 9955HX AMD Ryzen 9955HX3D based on their preferences.

As we mentioned, the Raider 18 HX AI is an AI-enabled laptop, and it comes with a whole host of AI features, like the AI Robot app. This AI assistant was created in partnership with Nvidia and uses a Small Local Language Model (SLM). Users can control their laptop using text commands and use other AI tools such as AI Noise Cancellation Pro and AI Engine.
At the time of writing, MSI has not given any indication on the price of the Raider 18 HX AI. However, taking into account that the laptop is equipped with the latest components, we don’t expect it to be too cheap.
