Asus unveils its new range of GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards. These presentations were an opportunity to introduce a new brand, the ROG Astral.
GeForce RTX 50 series ROG Astral
Asus explains that this range is inspired by the beauty of the objects making up our universe in order to offer leading thermal performance. These cards feature four fans providing 20% improvement in airflow and pressure compared to three-fan designs.
The cooling system is armed with a patented vapor chamber associated with optimized heat pipes responsible for transporting heat to the heat dissipation zones. Added to all this are phase change thermal pads, a metal frame and a reinforced back plate.
The ROG Astral LC GeForce RTX 5090 has liquid cooling with a 360 mm radiator, offering thermal performance 30% higher than aircooling while the air-cooled ROG Astrals are equipped with 80A MOSFET and military grade capacitors.
Added to this range are the traditional ROG Strix, TUF Gaming and Prime editions. These promise a compact design and excellent value for money. We do not have information on availability dates and prices.
