Will Jimmy Butler play for Miami again if he doesn’t trade?

The Jimmy Butler case greatly agitates Miami and the NBA planet. We thought the adventure was over, but it wouldn’t be impossible to see Jimmy-B don the Heat colors again.

Will leave? Won’t leave? Here are the two main questions surrounding Jimmy Butler. If Pat Riley had expressed his desire not to transfer his superstar, he was forced to backtrack after the winger’s media outings.

Jimmy Butler publicly requested a trade, earning him a seven-game suspension. Since then, the Heat have released a statement saying they are listening to transfer rumors.

With these two elements, we thought we would never see Jimmy Butler again with a Miami jersey on his back, but the reality could be different.

Miami Herald reporter Anthony Chang reports that the Heat hopes Jimmy Butler will put on his sneakers again if he is not transferred at the end of his suspension.

A quick look at the calendar and we can see that Jimmy Buckets could play on January 17 against the Nuggets, which leaves a little more than 10 days for the Heat to find him a way out.

Now, if we take a step back from the situation. Does it make sense for Miami to play Butler again before a possible transfer when we know his injury history? The risk seems significant. The winger’s value is known throughout the League and it is not going to rise or fall in just a few games.

So to be continued…
