Military deployment in the west against traffickers and smugglers

Footage filmed by the force shows a military truck ramming the entrance to a store or warehouse. Homes were also destroyed in this operation which began in Zawiya but which concerns the entire western zone. Other images show tanks and pickup trucks topped with machine guns driving through the city.

The operation which started on Sunday was announced on Friday. The command of the “West Coast Military Region” had called on residents to “stay away from sites targeted during precision airstrikes, in order to preserve their safety due to the possibility of the presence of explosive devices” .
