In Saudi Arabia, the Rossoneri turned the tables, overcoming their long-time rivals to lift this title for the eighth time in their history.
Milan celebrated their Supercoppa Italiana victory after coming from behind to secure a 3-2 win over Inter. Argentine striker Lautaro Martínez opened the scoring for the Nerazzurri, but the Rossoneri found their rhythm in the second half, eventually clinching the title.
The first half was fiercely contested between the two teams, and it was Martínez who broke the deadlock in the 45th minute. Taremi deflected the ball for the former Racing player, who executed a double feint in the area to avoid defenders before finishing with his left foot into the side net.
Just two minutes after the second half kicked off, Taremi doubled Inter’s lead with a goal that seemed to take the game away from Milan. After receiving a long pass, the Iranian striker quickly controlled the ball, finding himself alone in front of goalkeeper Maignan, and shot delicately to make it 2-0.

However, five minutes later, Theo Hernández lit the fuse for Milan’s comeback with a superb direct free-kick from just outside the Inter box.
As the match neared its conclusion, the team led by Portuguese coach Sergio Conceição equalized through Christian Pulisic. The American maneuvered with a defender at his back and unleashed a left-footed curling shot to level the score.
Three minutes into added time, Rafael Leão received a through ball and passed it to Tammy Abraham, who finished accurately into an open goal to seal the 3-2 victory.
In this way, Milan secured this trophy for the eighth time in their history, thus equalizing the total of their long-time rivals and placing themselves just one title behind Juventus, the club with the most victories in the Supercoppa Italiana.
