Daniel Tschofenig makes history
After the competitions in Oberstdorf, Garmisch and Inssbruck, the Austrians Stefan Kraft, Jan Hoerl and Stefan Kraft were in a tight spot, which guaranteed us enormous suspense for the last competition.
Passionate about ski jumping, nearly 30,000 Austrian fans came to fill the Bischofshofen stadium to witness the triumph of their team and the outcome of this incredible 2025 Tour.
After the first round, Stefan Kraft, the most successful, winner of the Tour ten years ago, the last Austrian to have registered his name on the list of winners, held the rope, ahead of Hoerl and Tschofenig.
Everything will be played out a few moments later, in front of a hot audience. Daniel Tschofenig, the least expected of the three, sets off first and lands at 140.5m, after a magnificent jump.
Just after, Jan Hoerl forgot the pressure and managed a huge jump at 143.5m, but unfortunately for him, he missed his landing, grabbed his head with both hands, and let the Tour slip away.
There remains King Stefan Kraft, the big favorite, ready to launch into the track at full speed. He settles down at the moment when the wind goes straight, the jury does not give the green light and Kraft takes off his skis to wait.
Annoyed, no doubt, upset, he has to wait several minutes, which seem like an eternity, before getting the green light. Perhaps a little too greedy, the Austrian N°1 falls to 137m.

Stefan Kraft disgusted
Totally disappointed, on the verge of tears, he has just lost the Tour on his last jump, in a sort of twist of fate.
The outcome is terrible for this immense champion who sees his young colleague Daniel Tschofenig celebrating all this with the public.
“It’s very hard, I wasn’t lucky. For me it’s not fair to make me wait so long, it’s always the same thing.” explained Stefan Kraft a few minutes after the final decision.
Not sure that the Austrian No. 1 will go this evening to celebrate Tschofenig’s success, both in this competition, on the Tour, and the 2nd places of Jan Hoerl, 2nd this evening, and 2nd of the Tour.
Kraft has had better 3rd places but his team has never dominated the Tournée des 4 Tremplins like this year. The Wunderteam won everything, crushed everything, both the qualifications and the competitions.
