A kidnapped individual was found injured in the Pissevin district of Nîmes, an investigation into attempted murder is open

On the night of Sunday January 5 to Monday January 6, an individual was found by the police, injured and wandering on the public highway in the Pissevin district. The Nîmes public prosecutor’s office confirms that the young man was allegedly kidnapped. It seems that he managed to escape on his own, from the hands of his attackers. His vital diagnosis would not be initiated. For the moment, the reason for this sequestration is still unknown. “Auditions are underway”we are told.

Investigation for attempted murder, kidnapping and participation in a criminal association

The prosecution also confirms that a flagrant investigation has been opened for attempted murder by an organized gang, kidnapping and sequestration without voluntary release and participation in a criminal association with a view to committing a crime. “The investigation was entrusted to the interdepartmental direction of the national police of Gard and Hérault under the direction of the Nîmes public prosecutor’s office”we add. No person has been arrested at this time.
