Communication put to the test. A few weeks ago, the former Minister of Sports, Gil Avérous, announced with great fanfare the implementation of nominative ticketing for three Ligue 1 clubs: PSG, OM and OL. However, in fact, this ticketing system is already in force at the Parc des Princes and will be very difficult – if not impossible – to establish for other Ligue 1 matches before the end of the season.
Therefore, there should be no changes. PSG will continue to apply this measure for the Classic scheduled for March 16 against OM, especially since no discussion with the National Supporterism Authority took place before the publication of the decree last December.
The list of Ligue 1 matches affected by “nominal ticketing” remains to be determined.
The stated aim of this nominative ticketing is to better control access to football stadiums. “The government’s intention is to avoid collective sanctions,” Gil Avérous explained on BFMTV at the end of October. “More precisely, our objective is to individualize and sanction those who instigate offensive comments in order to prevent collective penalties as much as possible. We will activate nominative ticketing.”

“Each spectator in the stadium must have a ticket in their name so that we can identify the source of the chants and comments and target those who will face stadium bans,” added the Minister of Sports on BFMTV.
