Napoli prepare first offer for Chiesa at Liverpool: details revealed.

According to information from Footmercato, Federico Chiesa is considering a return to Italy in the form of a loan, as advised by national coach Luciano Spalletti, in order to relaunch his career this winter. Although Napoli are in a favorable position facing notable competition from Italian clubs such as Fiorentina and Inter, the transaction promises to be complex. Indeed, Chiesa’s salary, which amounts to around 7.5 million euros net per season, complicates the negotiations. For an Italian club to be able to integrate Chiesa on loan, Liverpool would have to cover part of his salary. Recently, progress has been seen in this matter.

Napoli, who have shown strong interest from the start, are reportedly ready to make an initial offer to Liverpool for Federico Chiesa, who has only appeared in four games this season for the Reds. The player’s agent, Fali Ramadani, had a private meeting with Liverpool bosses last week. Both sides agreed to let Chiesa leave on loan, while considering a return to Liverpool next summer. After this meeting with English officials, Chiesa’s agent quickly traveled to Naples to establish initial contacts with Antonio Conte and Aurelio De Laurentiis. The Italian coach has approved Chiesa’s arrival and continues to advance discussions internally. The terms of the first offer still remain confidential, but according to our sources, Napoli are expected to submit a six-month loan offer to Liverpool in the coming days.

While the option of a winter transfer for the former Juventus player is growing in Antonio Conte’s mind, the latter has asked his leaders to act quickly to make the deal a reality. However, the negotiations between Naples and Liverpool must result positively on two key points: the part of the salary covered by the Reds and the possibility of including a purchase option, desired by Napoli. On this last aspect, Liverpool remains reluctant to sell the 27-year-old player permanently, especially if he regains his level of performance at Napoli. It will be necessary to convince the Reds to agree to a purchase option while minimizing the part of the salary covered by Liverpool during the loan, or by offering a purchase option greater than the 13 million euros invested by Liverpool this summer for secure a profit. Regardless, discussions are open and will continue throughout January.
