Brighton-Arsenal (1-1): The notes of a very dull draw

After a logical but not necessarily convincing victory against Brentford to start the year, the Gunners went to Brighton to try to get ahead of Chelsea who were held in check against Crystal Palace. A meeting which promised to be complicated at kick-off given the multiple unavailability and which ended in a frustrating but not necessarily illogical draw.

David Raya (6/10) : Little used, he nevertheless makes the necessary exits and appropriate restarts, always with valuable footwork on the restart.

What rating for Partey?

Thomas Partey (6/10) : The right-back position is not his, he does his best and shows that we can count on him to help out. We prefer to see him in his favorite position where he could have brought his mastery of ball releases

What rating for Saliba?

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

William Saliba (6/10) : Excellent in almost all duels, he unfortunately hits Joao Pedro with his head in the area, causing a penalty which allows Brighton to come back to the score (1-1, 61′)

What rating for Gabriel?

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Gabriel (6/10) : Always in the game defensively and performing well in duels, he does not always manage to stand out on offensive corners, often being caught by his direct opponent.

What rating for Calafiori?

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Riccardo Calafiori (6/10): Serious and diligent defensively, he had a better match than Wednesday against Brentford where he gave Mbeumo too much freedom.

What rating for Jorginho?

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Jorginho (5/10): Positioned as a Quaterback in front of the defense, he alternated between the excellent and the dangerous. He has certainly multiplied the openings with vista but with more or less success. He also loses a dangerous ball which could have been costly in the first half (33′). Replaced by Odegaard (64′) announced ill and who is indeed presenting worrying symptoms.

Mikel Merino (6/10): Author of a very nice assist on Ethan Nwaneri’s goal (16′) he is more available and more inspired with the ball than at the start of the season.

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Declan Rice (5/10) : Not the best match from the Englishman who hasn’t been in the form of his life lately. It fails to have the usual impact.

What rating for Nwaneri?

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Ethan Nwaneri (6/10) : Started for the second consecutive time in place of Bukayo Saka (injured), he opened the scoring from the start of the match on a nice pass from Mikel Merino (16′), then plunged a little into the match, stubbornly wanting to making individual differences which earned him to be replaced by Gabriel Martinelli for the second half (45′) who was unable to make any differences.

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Leandro Trossard (3/10) : Fails to make any real difference with the ball or to frame his shots, a match to forget for him.

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Gabriel Jesus (4/10) : Difficult to find in the possession phase, he doesn’t contribute much but has the merit of not being stingy with defensive efforts, particularly when pressing.

What rating for coach Arteta?

{{ row.Answer_Title }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }} {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % {{row.Answer_Votes}} {{row.Answer_Votes}} ( {{row.tsp_result_percent}} % ) {{ tsp_result_no }}

Mikel Arteta (4/10): Unusual choices concerning his starting eleven but which seem to have been dictated by an epidemic (Havertz, Odegaard) and last-minute injuries (Martinelli). He takes out Nwaneri early in the match and brings in Odegaard, who he announced was ill at kick-off. Difficult to understand…
