This Saturday took place the seventh and penultimate round of the Super prestigein Gullegem. A small point of difference separated Ceylin Alverado (Fenix-Deceuninck) et Lucinda Brand (Baloise Trek Lions) in the general classification before the start of this cross. The race summary
From the start of the race Zoé Backstedt takes control of the race and takes the lead. It is extracted with Ceylin Alvarado et Léonie Bentveld. At the end of the second lap, the trio had a 10-second lead over Lucinda Brand et Marion Norbert Riberolle. Lucinda Brand lets go of the Belgian, but is unable to come back and remains ten seconds behind the leading trio.
In the fourth of five rounds of the event, Lucinda Brand speeds up and comes back Léonie Bentveldwho can’t keep up Alvarado et Backstedt.
