“Two girls who are not only beautiful”: Vincent Lagaf’ talks about the return of Gafettes in Le Bigdil

It’s a return eagerly awaited by fans. This Thursday, January 2, Vincent Lagaf’ takes over the helm of the show The Bigdil on RMC Story. Asked by Cable Sat Hebdothe 65-year-old host spoke on the profile of the new Gafettes.

His offbeat humor and his famous “bip bip !” made him one of the most popular hosts of the early 2000s. After trying to break into singing, Vincent Lagaf’ made a name for himself on the small screen by hosting the show The bigdil from 1998 to 2004. Interviewed by Tele-Leisure a few years ago, the host explained that he did not believe in the return of the cult game.

These will be back on RMC Storybut the nickname “Gafette” will no longer be used. “We found 2 girls who are not only beautiful. One is a director and the other opened a yoga school”, explained Vincent Lagaf’ in the columns of TéléCable Sat.

“I also wanted them to be equipped with a microphone because they have repartee. The world has changed, I have to learn to deal with it. In the first show I was in 100% Lagaf’ mode. The producer told me: ‘We’re going to prune. We can’t do that anymore.’”, he continued. To embody these new Gafettes, Vincent Lagaf’ chose two former recruits: Fanny Veyracwho had already collaborated with the host on The Right Priceet Nadia Anebria former Gafette of bigdil.
