This season, Butland has played 29 matches in all competitions, missing only one match. The goalkeeper signed with Glasgow Rangers in the summer of 2023, following a six-month loan with Manchester United where he had never played. Butland also played in the Premier League with Stoke City and Crystal Palace.
In the league, Glasgow Rangers are in second place after 18 days, 14 points behind Celtic. In the Europa League, the team led by Philippe Clement occupies eighth place two days from the end. On January 23, Butland and his teammates will travel to challenge Manchester United.
