Ozzy Osbourne has shared details of a Christmas where he drank 28 gallons of beer.
The 76-year-old rock legend is well known for his wild past – and has previously spoken openly about the old addictions he battled.
In a new interview, the Changes singer opened up about not being a fan of Christmas – and recalls drinking an incredible amount of alcohol for a year to cope.
The rock and roll icon was quoted by The Sun saying: “I hate Christmas. It pisses me off. »
He went on to explain that he bought so much beer that he drank the equivalent of 224 pints to get through the festive period.
Osbourne said: “When I used to drink alcohol and get fucked up, I bought a barrel with 28 gallons of alcohol for myself. I drank it before fucking Christmas Eve. »
Earlier this year, the singer revealed that he doesn’t consider himself “completely sober.”
He said on the Madhouse Chronicles podcast in October: “I’m happier, but I’m not completely sober. I use a little marijuana from time to time. »
Explaining how his wife Sharon Osbourne would react to his return to drugs, he added: “Even with marijuana, she will find it and get rid of it… I went to a doctor recently and started taking this ketamine . He gave me a little bit, but it was enough to turn me on. This thing came back and weighed down my brain.
